Expert in nutrition and lactation physiology | Bioactive peptides | | | Dr. Ioannis Politis is a Full Professor in the Department of Animal Science at the Agricultural University of Athens. His research interests are in the area of nutritional and lactation physiology. His recent research projects are related to biologically active peptides in bovine and ovine milk and milk quality (plasmin – plasminogen system). Furthermore, he investigates how various nutrients including vitamins regulate immune function.
