Tromsø and the venue
Tromsø is the largest city in the Nordic countries north of the Arctic Circle. The city lives on education, research, administration, fishing exports and satellite technology. The centre of the
north has 62,000 residents and the Municipality of Tromsø covers an area of 2558 km². Around 50,000 live in the centre of Tromsø, while the remainder is scattered throughout the whole municipality. In spite of their location so far north, Tromsø and Lyngen both enjoy a moderate insular climate. Summer weather ranges from 5°C and rain to 28 °C and fantastic swimming conditions for the undaunted.
The Second International Feed for Health Conference will be 14-15th June in Tromsø, Norway, in the modern Conference Center 'Arktika', Polarmiljøsentret.
