Animal science, feed science and human nutrition
Metabolic programming

University of Copenhagen Faculty of Life Sciences (KU LIFE) has activities in three relevant areas: production animal science (including animal nutrition), feed science (meat science and dairy technology) and human nutrition. There are ongoing research and teaching activities in all three areas, and collaborative research projects that span across the disciplines. As an example, ongoing metabolic programming research uses animal models, assesses muscle and meat quality and examines the impact on long-term human health.
